Sal,
This one has a captivating mood. Overall, the paint handling, value and color is strong. What needs improvement though, is the understanding of the forms of the strawberries. On the next one I'd set up a still life before you that is very similar to the one I'm painting in the demo. This way you will be able to study the form more closely. The color of the strawberries can be created with a variety of reds, not only Cad and Aliz. What's most important are the warm and cool contrasts. -Hall II
